Your Goal
Work your way from Plongeur to Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine across 10 kitchen stations — from basic tools to the final layer of flavor. Each station teaches the English vocabulary for one lesson. Play stations in any order.
How to Play
- Every station has Vocabulary and Kitchen Language Focus practice — both are always open, on every station, at any time, and you can play them as many times as you like.
- Every station also has a Test: 30 questions, a single 20-minute timer, and a raw score out of 30 (18/30 to pass). You get one official attempt — make it count. All stations are open from the start, in any order.
- Not sure you're ready? Try the Mock Test first — same format, same timer, but unlimited attempts and nothing is saved or graded.
- Taking the Test: practice needs no login. The real Test is taken only in class: your teacher opens the Test of the station for that day, you tap that station's Take the Test card and log in with your name, year and PIN. After the Test you are logged out automatically.
- There are no hearts or lives — practice as many times as you like.
- Spelling questions: type the word letter by letter. Correct letters turn green; a wrong letter turns red and disappears. Stuck? Tap Help letter to get the next letter in blue. In practice you can make 2 mistakes (3 in long words) and get help for up to half the word; in the Test, 1 mistake and 1 help letter. One mistake too many and the answer is wrong — finish the word and press Check to see the correct spelling.

Come Si Gioca
- Ogni stazione ha una riga di Vocabolario e una di Linguaggio di Cucina — sempre aperte, su ogni stazione, in qualsiasi momento, e puoi giocarle tutte le volte che vuoi.
- Ogni stazione ha anche un Test: 30 domande, un unico timer di 20 minuti, e un punteggio grezzo su 30 (18/30 per superarlo). Hai un solo tentativo ufficiale — fallo contare. Tutte le stazioni sono aperte fin dall'inizio, in qualsiasi ordine.
- Non ti senti pronto? Prova prima il Test di Prova — stesso formato, stesso timer, ma tentativi illimitati e nulla viene salvato o valutato.
- Il Test: per fare pratica non serve accedere. Il vero Test si svolge solo in classe: l'insegnante apre il Test della stazione del giorno, tu tocchi la scheda Take the Test di quella stazione e accedi con nome, anno e PIN. Dopo il Test vieni disconnesso automaticamente.
- Non ci sono vite: puoi fare pratica tutte le volte che vuoi.
- Domande di spelling: scrivi la parola lettera per lettera. Le lettere corrette diventano verdi; una lettera sbagliata diventa rossa e scompare. Sei bloccato? Tocca Help letter per avere la lettera successiva in blu. Nella pratica puoi fare 2 errori (3 nelle parole lunghe) e ricevere aiuto fino a metà parola; nel Test, 1 errore e 1 lettera di aiuto. Un errore in più e la risposta è sbagliata: completa la parola e premi Check per vedere lo spelling corretto.
